Admission Process

Simple Steps to Enroll Your Child

Registration

Fill the registration form available at the school office or download from website. Submit with required documents and registration fee.

Admission Test & Interview

Those selected for admission through the admission test and interview will have to submit the official birth certificate of the child at the time of admission.

Selection & Offer

Selected candidates will receive admission offer letter. Parents need to accept the offer within specified timeline.

Fee Payment & Confirmation

Pay the admission fee and submit required documents to confirm the seat. Submit undertaking regarding timely payment of fees, good conduct, punctuality, regularity and discipline.

Age Eligibility & Documents

  • Nursery: 3+ years as on 31st March
  • KG: 4+ years as on 31st March
  • Class I: 5+ years as on 31st March
  • Class II to VIII: Based on previous class completion
  • Birth Certificate: Official birth certificate required. Affidavit for date of birth will not be accepted.
  • Date of Birth: Once entered into school records, it will not be altered.

Documents Required

  • Official Birth Certificate (original & photocopy)
  • Previous class Report Card / Marksheet
  • Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate (for class II onwards)
  • Passport size photographs (4 copies)
  • Aadhar Card of student & parents
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Undertaking regarding timely payment of fees, good conduct, punctuality, regularity and discipline

Admission & Withdrawal Rules

  • Withdrawal Notice: For withdrawal of the student from the school, notice shall have to be given one month earlier; otherwise, the security money shall be forfeited.
  • Transfer Certificate: No Transfer/School Leaving Certificate will be issued unless all fees and dues of the school are paid.
  • Grounds for Leaving School: A student can be ordered to leave the school on grounds of: Indiscipline, Unsatisfactory progress in studies, Detention in a class, Over age due to repeated failure, Non-Payment of fees for over two months.

Residential Admission (Boys Only)

GSPS (R) offers residential facilities for boys only. Boarders stay in hostel round the year except D.P., Holi & Summer Vacations. Regular activities are organised on Sundays and holidays. Authorised visitors are welcome only on Sundays in view of the safety and security of the children.

Note: No money, however small in amount, and costly articles such as watches, golden rings, cell phones etc. are to be kept with students.

Fee Rules

  • Tuition fees are payable monthly by 10th of the respective month (i.e., the same month). To avoid late fine, the fee must be paid on or before the 10th day of the same month.
  • If the fees are not paid in time, a late fine of ₹10/- per day shall be charged, that too only for one month.
  • Non-payments of fees up to the last date of the month without any valid reason and prior permission from the Principal, will lead to removal of the student's name from the school rolls. To continue as a student thereafter, readmission shall have to be sought with the payment of arrears of fees, fines and readmission charges, as the case.
  • Fees are payable for the whole month even if a student is withdrawn from the school on the first working day of the month.
  • As far as possible, fees should be sent through adults.

Important Notes

1. Admission is granted purely on merit basis and availability of seats.
2. The school management reserves the right to accept or reject any admission application without assigning any reason.
3. Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Parents are requested to fill the admission form carefully with correct information.
